Founded in 2010, Three Scale branched off of Three Scale Research, a research consulting firm that was founded by Ron McChesney.
Ron was inspired to create Three Scale Research after spending a summer with his intern research team. He felt they had the skills and capabilities to lead the company in a profitable direction. After acquiring the rights to sell MicroMaps, Three Scale was born.
